ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated to fill our Financial Accountant role at our Head Office in Richmond.

Who are we:

The Retail Savvy Group own five venues across Melbourne each with a distinct personality as well as have a number of smaller businesses working in the design and property space.

What we will do for you:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity for strong career development, working with the Commercial Director who is always a FCA, so the position is perfect for someone with accreditation aspirations.

What will the duties include:

  • Accounts Payable – Daily Cash Flow Management
  • Weekly sales report
  • Monthly Financial Report
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • BAS/IAS/Payroll Tax Lodgment
  • Asset Register
  • General Admin

What are we looking for:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Extensive MYOB experience
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Outlook/Office Suite.
  • Excellent file management skills
  • Time management skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Able to work as a team player but also competent in individual projects
  • Previous experience with Ordermate system is preferred
  • 2+ years experience required working in fast pasted environment.
  • Hospitality industry experience preferred

Once proven yourself, potential to be mentored into the CPA or CA programs.
