The Brotherhood works not just to alleviate poverty but also to prevent it. Fiji Kids is a grassroots charity providing financial assistance to help the neediest children attend school and achieve both primary and secondary education via financial support from commitment sponsors.For almost 1 million people the beautiful islands of Fiji are home. But for many, life is no holiday and even the very basics of life are out of reach. In 1925, it was suggested that Legacy should look into caring for the children of deceased servicemen. This proposal was accepted and Legacy found its soul; it is dedicated to caring for the families of deceased and incapacitated veterans.Their support and services now extend to include the dependents of members of today’s Australian Defence Force who lose their lives as a result of their military service.We have supported Legacy on Anzac day and New Years Eve by donating $1 of every beer served to this worthy charity. The Leukaemia Foundation provides personalised and practical support for patients and families living with leukaemias and related blood cancers.The Leukaemia Foundation’s vision is to help find better treatments and cures for the 45,000 Australians who will be diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma and related blood cancers and disorders in the next 5 years. Retail Savvy Group proudly supported the Melbourne Uni Health Initiative, by donating first and second prizes to a fundraiser trivia night.  All money raised will be used in their Kenyan Village Medical Education (KVME) program to pay for medical equipment and subsidise the cost of sending volunteers to Kenya.
Movember aims to change the face of men’s health and reverse this way of thinking by putting a fun twist on this serious issue. Using the moustache as a catalyst, we want to bring about change and give men the opportunity and confidence to learn and talk about their health more openly and take action.The Retail Savvy Group has supported the Movember cause for 6 years running, encouraging it staff members to grow even the most pathetic of facial hair for the cause.This year our venues have raised $2,846 by donating 25 cents from every house spirit sold, totalling $11,384.

We are pleased to announce our support to The Leukaemia Foundation via their fund raising efforts for The U.G.L.Y Bartender of the Year 2013.The U.G.L.Y helps raise money to provide families with accommodation within the city while receiving blood cancer treatment. 25c will be donated from every Jug of Guko’s Choice sold at Asian Beer Café to help with the cause. In May, the Retail Savvy Group team as well as some venue staff members participated in Sleep at the ‘G, to raise money for homeless young people.
They were given only a piece of cardboard and a pillow and were made to sleep in the Melbourne Cricket Ground hallways. They were then woken up at 5am and it was tough to say the least. It was a great insight as to how Melbourne’s homeless youth suffer every single night. As challenging as it was, we are excited to participate next year and years to come to support this great cause.Melbourne City Mission aimed to raise $500,000, and we are proud to say we helped them reach that goal, with a total of $449, 884!If you would like to contribute to Melbourne City Mission’s excellent work, please visit here.

The RSL evolved as a direct result of the camaraderie, concern and mateship shown by the “diggers” for the welfare of their mates during and after the 1914-1918 war. Victorians stand together for Nepal
Nepal was struck by 7.8 Richter Scale Earthquake on 25.04.2015 at 16:11 AEST. 

The epicenter was approximately 34 km east-southeast of Lamjung, Nepal. It is the most powerful disaster to strike Nepal since 1934. The aftershocks continued for over 48 hours, with one reaching as high as 6.7 RS (26.04.2015)
The death toll has climbed over 10,000 people and counting. Villages have been flattened, the infrastructure has completely collapsed. Ever since, the earthquake people have been sleeping in open grounds, some under make shift tents, and some under open skies. Food is readily getting scarce, with less to nil sanitary arrangements, diseases have started to creep in. Communication with people in Nepal is an effort.
When the news came as the Earthquake hit Nepal, a chaotic situation arose across the world. Nepalese living in Victoria knew this was the time to band together. An emergency meeting was held on 26.04.2015. Under the unanimous decision, a committee was established for Earthquake relief.
The committee will work closely with NRN, and support the work NRN will do in Nepal. The primary goals of the committee being:
• to generate funds for Earthquake relief
• to collect supplies and goods for Earthquake affected Nepali people
• to organise medical and non-medical volunteers to Nepal
• to provide information to general public
• to build a support system to Nepalese in Victoria
• to facilitate NRN with any help they need in providing relief to Nepal and rebuilding Nepal

Teenage Expo the largest youth educational event in the country, called the Australian Teenage Expo. Currently in it’s 5 year the Expo has had more than 35,000 people attend the event. In partnership with many not for profits, corporates and government bodies, the aim of the Expo is to connect young people to their potential. Sonya and Sacha funded and launched the major event brand with the belief that young people needed a platform to get connected to their own path of potential and self-respect. The event is respected as a huge success story for major corporate brands as connecting with this age group is extremely challenging. This event puts sponsors directly in front of a usually untouchable audience.
Ardoch has provided education support to children and young people in disadvantaged communities for over 25 years. The work of Ardoch began with founder Kathy Hilton’s desire to see a 17-year-old girl experiencing homelessness stay at school and complete her education. Since then, Ardoch has helped thousands of children and young people to stay at school, receive a helping hand with their education and have access to more choices and opportunities in life.
The ultimate goal of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is to raise enough money to fund a cure for breast cancer. As Australia’s leading national not-for profit organisation established to fund all forms of research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer, they have a responsibility to ensure that the funds we work so hard to raise are used in the best possible way as we all move towards making this goal a reality. We proudly supported the NBCF by donating gifts for their silent auction at the “2015 Melbourne Pink Ribbon Breakfast” event.
We proudly supported the Stonnington Mayor’s Trivia Night – a charity fundraiser for Cabrini Hospital on Wednesday 7 October 2015. The Trivia night is aiming to raise $50,000 for Cabrini’s ground-breaking and life-changing chemotherapy cooling caps which constrict the blood flow to the blood vessels in the scalp during chemotherapy, thereby reducing the amount of hair loss.
